After some long travel we landed in Auckland running on fumes and needing some good sleep. We rallied and grabbed some dinner and took in more the next day. We didn’t explore too long because we were too excited to get to Hahei, a small town in the Coromandel Peninsula. However, we did see Auckland’s Skytower, waterfront and even stopped at Kelly’ Tarlton’s Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World. My first beer in New Zealand was EPIC Pale Ale which was a great foreshadowing for next two weeks!
